Chapter 8 provides an overview of international arbitration procedure—both under arbitration treaties and contractual arrangements. Coverage includes ad hoc arbitration under the auspices the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), and institutional arbitration under ICSID, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the LCIA.
