- Awards — Recognition and enforcement — UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules — International investment law
This chapter examines the awards arising from international investment instruments and related jurisprudence concerning the challenge of domestic enforcement and execution. It focuses on five domestic court decisions: four court decisions involving challenges by states to the enforcement and/or execution of investment awards in national courts under the ICSID Convention; and one recent case of addressing the enforcement or execution of a BIT arbitration award.
