This chapter examines activities of the Centre in the first decade of the twenty-first century. The decade saw explosive growth of the institution’s caseload. Between January 1, 2000 and June 30, 2010,1 proceedings were instituted under the ICSID Convention or Additional Facility Rules in a total of 250 new cases—nearly four times as many cases as were brought to ICSID during the previous 30 years.
