On July 20, 2020, the Committee invited the Parties to confer and use their best efforts to agree on a joint proposal for a contingency plan to convene a virtual hearing, in the event that it could not be feasible to convene physically for the hearing scheduled to take place, in-person, on November 17 and 18, 2020 in Washington, D.C.
