1. Claimants are Quadrant Pacific Growth Fund L.P. (“Quadrant Pacific”) and Canasco Holdings, Inc. (“Canasco”) (hereinafter identified as the “Claimants”), Canadian companies whose main place of business is in the province of British Columbia, Canada. Canasco is the general partner of Quadrant Pacific, which controlled investments in five orange plantations in the Canton of “Los Chiles”, located on the northern border of Costa Rica.
